The product seems to be nice, good quality materials. I’m happy with it overall BUT the instructions are horrible and not clear, and it was not fun to build.

Canada Greenhouse Kits
I’m very disappointed with the materials of the product. I feel like I purchased a 1400 pop bottle. Also the instructions aren’t great about details and redoing. Certain steps there is constant loosening of screws or unfastening to add parts. I have my doubts for wi there time and snow. The picture doesn’t do it justice on the quality of materials. I have a great base though wood and rock chip. Also got the anchoring package. Also a on the narrow side doorway. It wasn’t “easy” as per the many utube videos with warnings.
Hi Margaret, and thanks for the honest feedback. I am sorry the Hybrid 6x8 has not felt like what you hoped. Let me go through your points.
The panels: the clear side panels are thin single-wall polycarbonate, so they do feel light, almost like a pop bottle as you said. That part is normal for this model. The roof is different. It is 4mm twin-wall, so it is thicker and stronger than the sides. If any panel showed up scratched, cracked, or cloudy, that is not normal, and we will replace it. Just send us a photo.
The assembly: you are right that the instructions are fiddly and it was not as easy as some of the videos make it look. You got through it though, and from your photos it looks like you already have it built and planted, which is the hard part done.
The snow: the Hybrid is rated to hold about 75 kg per square metre of snow (15 lbs per square foot). In a normal winter that is fine. If you get heavy snow, the simple fix is to brush it off the roof after a big storm so it does not pile up. That is the main thing that keeps these greenhouses safe through winter.
You did the rest right too, Margaret, with a solid wood and rock base and the anchoring package. It also comes with a 5 year warranty, so if a part fails we are here to help. Reach out on the live chat on our website or just reply here, and we will get anything else sorted with you.

Assembly went well but it did take longer than I expected. There were a few of the instruction that were vague. Seems solid enough although we haven’t experienced any major storms with high winds. There was a problem with the small back retainer tabs that push fit into the base frame. Several broke or split when installing. I requested replacement parts from the warranty group over 2 weeks ago with no response other they hadn’t received my request.

Great greenhouse - 6 x 8 Hybrid black frame. The box will fit in almost any vehicle. Very easy to assemble - pictured instructions were excellent. Very easy to assemble in less than one day. The final fit, finish, and appearance = beyond my expectations and better than the stock photos. I had some concerns with shipping = Ontario to BC, however, the owner of CGK completely supports getting the product to the purchaser. Great experience, great product, and great post-sales support. Recommended in every way - would give 10 star review if I could.

Great to hear the pictured instructions did their job and the 6 x 8 Hybrid went up in under a day. The fit and finish coming in better than the stock photos is our favourite kind of feedback, since photos never quite do the black frame justice.

It’s a very sturdy greenhouse. I built it on a 4x4 treated lumber foundation. We’ve had some 90-100km/hour wind storms, and it’s still standing like a champ. I was able to assemble it by myself. The instructions were clear, and easy to execute.
It gets very hot inside during the day, so we had to invest in some shades as the roof vent does not sufficiently cool it down.
My wife and I assembled the 6x8 hybrid. I was a little surprised about how many parts there was. I would give the instructions 7 out of 10 the quality of the parts was good. Every thing fit well and structurally it is strong. We did buy the automatic roof vent arm opener it works well and seems to be a of good quality. I would recommend the greenhouse and opener.
Kit was okay - build time of a half day is crazy (full day to day and a half for mechanical people familiar with building). Not staying as warm at night as I thought it would, but we had high winds day after and rock solid.

The Hybrid has all of the features I was looking for. After having a full summer with it, I'm very content with the purchase. It's stood up well through different weather, and I can grow everything I want in it.
Perfect started greenhouse. It took us a little longer than we originally thought to build.
But we are very pleased with the quality of the item.
I've had my greenhouse since the beginning of the summer and loved using it when the weather was nice. I held off writing a review because I wanted to see how it would hold up in winter. So far we have had a few big snow storms, and thankfully it's still standing with no issues! It's mildly windy in our backyard but tends to collect a lot of snow, so I'm really happy with how the greenhouse has held up.
We put our greenhouse together June 30th, some of the instructions were a little vague. I was totally disappointed that there were no flat or lock washers. Also very disappointed in the very flimsy corner braces. The true test will be our it's first NL winter ,, very windy and snowy!!

Love the look of this greenhouse but it is not sturdy! Every time we get wind the panels blow out and we have to search around the neighbourhood for them. This greenhouse was installed very well on a sturdy base but didn’t seem to help. I feel this greenhouse is not going to last very long considering the price!!! It is only one year old!

I have been waiting so long for a greenhouse and finally decided to buy one this year, and let me tell you I am sooooo happy with my decision. I absolutely love my grey hybrid greenhouse. For one, it's gorgeous, and even more importantly it is so functional. I love the clear side panels with the semi-opaque roof. It has great insulation and aesthetically looks beautiful! The size is good because it doesn't take up too much room in my backyard and I can still fit a lot inside. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to others!
